Take off and landing...

I suspect that I'm the only one to have procured the new Elbow album, so I thought a short review would be in order. Firstly, it's better than the last one. Quite a lot better. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's very good. Up until the last three tracks, which don't do anything for me. On that basis pop pickers it's a 7/10.

    I have decided that I actually quite like the third last track now. So I'm upgrading it to 8/10.

    I'm going for a 7/10. I have confidence that with more lessons it'll reveal more of itself too - which the last album never did. Don't think there's a Tower Crane Driiiiiiiiver in there though, which is my later-period-Elbow-benchmark.

    Tried to post this once, but don't think it happened?

    The "new" single Real Life Angel is the best thing they've done in about....6 years. Lovely stuff.
