Something like a phenomena

There's about 4 different songs in here...and they're all good

  1. 7:51: it's a whopper. Like it though. Lots of MGMT in there...

  3. I've got the album and it is.....superb. Tons of Prince, Beck, Daft Punk and yes, MGMT. Been a long time since I've felt so enthusiastic about a new release.

3 line whip on this one gents...you need to give it a go.

  4. I like a three line whip - gives me something to complain about if I don't like it. Spotilistening now...

  5. Pretty good, but quite a gulf between the singles and the rest for me. The rest is a bit...nice, but not nearly so interesting. The singles are pretty awesome though.

  6. Give it another couple of listens until the others become as familiar and I swear you'll love it. I'm at that point when my fondness for each category has swapped places, always a good thing with an album. Less I know the better and Yes I'm Changing standouts for me.

  7. ANOTHER two? Sheesh. I've already given it two. That must add up to - like - a 12-line whip.

I will, but you need to wait until there's no Radconie or ODI on.

    Raymond. Any reaction?

  8. I have listened to it twice - but both times in the midst a somewhat full-on week of work, so I can't claim to have paid close attention. But I liked what I heard and will listen again.

  9. Some relevant news here too:

Noting two of Andrew's championed artists are there I wonder if we're seeing a new phase in your tastes/fashions. I'm imagining you skulking around Scottish supermarkets in a gold lamé cape...

  10. "lol" and yes, bang to rights. It helps fit in with the locals actually.

  11. This is quite an alarming development given my one-time patronage of Muse and ambition to spread Hocus Pocus by Focus to the masses (and you might say Everything Everything are lucky to escape the attentions of these compilers).

Oh well, the heart wants what the heart wants *strolls off whistling Shine On You Crazy Diamond*
