Wolf Alice

Surprised myself with this one. Got the album as an Xmas present and initially thought it was OK, but probably one for the kids. But after a few listens it's really impressed me. Consistently good songs across the full album. Loads of obvious influences but channeled really well. Could have chosen any track to include here...

    About 5 tracks in and finding it a bit ... challenging.

    Like it when it goes Cardigans/Camera Obscura-y, mind.

    Took me about three listens, and then on the fourth I started to think "oh I remember this one - it's quite catchy". And then doing that a lot.

    Definitely Cardigans. I'd say they have also listened to quite a lot of Loveless over their short years...
